Steve welcomes Conchita on stage to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their iconic win in Copenhagen. They discuss the impact of Rise Like A Phoenix, working on the Eurovision movie and the perils of skiing. Gustaph (Belgium, 2023) and Keiino (Norway, 2019) also share their Eurovision memories and stories. From the Class of 2024, Malta’s Sarah Bonnici, Ireland’s Bambie Thug, Austria’s Kaleen and Belgium’s Mustii drop in too. Episode Title: ten56. - Hellfest Warm-Up Tour –ARTE Concert Episode Content: #TEN56 #HELLFEST #WARMUP 🇫🇷 ten56. est le projet d’Aaron Matts (chanteur), Quentin Godet (guitare), Arnaud Verrier (batterie), Luka Garotin (guitare) et Steeves Hostin (basse). A eux cinq, les musiciens font un boucan de tous les diables, déversant un magma sonore qui vient des tripes. Cette musique apocalyptique, industrielle, ten56. s’en sert pour livrer une vision sans fard de l’humanité et de son avenir. Un portrait forcément sombre, porté notamment par les hurlements saisissants de Matts et l’incroyable rythmique de Verrier. C’est cette patte (plutôt du genre grosse patoune) qui a donné naissance en 2023 à un premier album baptisé Downer. Ce premier essai est une vraie claque, qui prend un tout autre niveau lorsqu’il est libéré en live. Pas sûr que le public de la Philharmonie de Paris s’en remette ! Filmé le 5 mai 2024 à la Philharmonie de Paris dans le cadre de l’exposition Metal : Diabolus in musica, présentée jusqu’en septembre 2024. ____________ 🇩🇪 Ten56. ist das Metalcore-Projekt von Aaron Matts (Vocals), Quentin Godet (Gitarre), Arnaud Verrier (Schlagzeug), Luka Garotin (Gitarre) und Steeves Hostin (E-Gitarre). Die fünf Musiker treiben den Geräuschpegel in gefährliche Höhen und produzieren mit viel Einsatz ein glühendes Sound-Magma. ten56. zeichnen in ihrem apokalyptischen Industrial-Stil ein ungeschminktes Porträt der Menschheit und ihrer Zukunft. Die zwangsläufig düstere Stimmung wird durch Aaron Matts brachiales Shouting und den rasanten Rhythmus von Drummer Arnaud Verrier noch verstärkt. Ihr 2023 erschienenes Debütalbum Downer trägt dieselbe Handschrift. Das Opus ist ein echter Schlag ins Gesicht, den man im entfesselten Live-Auftritt umso intensiver verspürt. Ensemble, ses membres se mettent à construire un univers à la fois ultra cohérent et d’un grand éclectisme, piochant leurs inspirations dans différents pans des musiques extrêmes. Cette musique particulièrement riche se déploie tout au long des albums Darkened Studio (2013), Exile (2015) et Ascension (2020). Ce troisième opus publié sur le label Season of Mist vient ainsi courroner un parcours sans faute qui a placé les cinq artistes comme des figures montantes du black metal made in France. Regarde les hommes tomber nous a déjà bluffés deux fois : au Trianon en 2019 lors de soirée Major Arcana – un événement impulsé par le duo d’illustrateurs Fortifem – et en 2020 au cours de l’édition "from home" du Hellfest. Nous sommes donc ravis de rempiler, encore dans un nouveau cadre : la grande salle Pierre Boulez de la Philharmonie de Paris. Filmé le 5 mai 2024 à la Philharmonie de Paris dans le cadre de l’exposition Metal : Diabolus in musica, présentée jusqu’en septembre 2024 . ____________ 🇩🇪 Regarde les Hommes Tomber wurde 2011 in Nantes gegründet. Gemeinsam haben die Bandmitglieder ein ebenso stimmiges wie eklektisches musikalisches Universum geschaffen, das seine Inspirationen aus unterschiedlichen extremen Spielarten des Metal bezieht. Ihre ausgesprochen facettenreiche Musik füllt bereits drei Alben: „Darkened Studio“ (2013), „Exile“ (2015) und „Ascension“ (2020), das auf dem Label Season of Mist erschienen ist und den vorläufigen Höhepunkt einer Bilderbuchkarriere darstellt, die die fünf Rising Stars des französischen Black Metal in den vergangenen 13 Jahren hingelegt haben. Regarde les hommes tomber konnte bei ARTE Concert schon zweimal überzeugen: 2019 im Trianon bei der Soirée Major Arcana – einer Veranstaltung des Illustratorenduos Fortifem – und 2020 beim „Hellfest from Home“.
